KNOWING A GENUINE LOVE FROM LUST

It's such a pity to know that most young people can no longer differentiate between "lust and love" and as such, fallen into what looks like love.

The feeling of love and lust are always very similar but they end up playing differently in achieving it's goal.

Before we proceed, let's first see the meaning of "love and lust."

Love is a range of strong and positive emotional and mental states. True love doesn't really mean blindness, it means seeing your partners flaws and still accepting the beauty of that person's soul over his/her flaws.

Lust is a strong desire for sexual pleasure of a person, and it is mostly triggered by a person's physical look.


"THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GENUINE LOVE &       LUST."

✍️ Love is when your partner has a higher priority over your cravings. This mean that he/she has learnt to prioritize your future relationship over any other craving that isn't healthy for the growth of the the relationship.

* Lust is a feeling that focuses on the body parts. It has a seductive spirit, fantacy and excitement.

✍️ Love has an emotional feeling of being with your partner and listens to his/her needs and emotions to feel connected.

* Lust is having a yearning for sexual gratification. It is mosttimes having an unnecessary feeling of sexual attachment for a person.

✍️ Love is becoming real and vulnerable with your partner, trusting him/her without fears and hope for the future.

* Lust is always full of pretence and attraction. It comes out impressively in order to gain attention for acceptance.

✍️Love is submissiveness, It increases with time.

* Lust is impatient and full of excuses.

✍️ Love is slow and steady, it takes time because it's not infatuated. It means holding on for long.

* Lust is always very quick, it has a very short life spam. It is always sudden and short because it doesn't give room to a long term relationship.

✍️ Love is grounded in a deep commitment and has the ability to endure.

* Lust easily gets tired and irritated, especially when that partner is beginning to get tired of the other, and wants to quit but hides under the guise of flimsy excuses.

✍️ Love is sacrificing for what will be better at the end. Love is intense and passionate, everything seems so bright and happier when you are in love.

* Lust isn't really focused on a particular individual, hence you have too many partner who cheat because they lust after the outward looks of another.

✍️ Love is accepting your partner's soul and finding pleasure in the beauty that the heart carries order than the outward look.

* Lust is having a partner who doesn't desire to speak with you about anything beyond shallow topics. Such a partner will subconsciously do whatever it takes to aviod building a connection with you.

✍️ Love is giving oneself and never holding back. It is caring for your partner's happiness, safety and health.
